As an event facilitator, we drafted a report for a provincial knowledge exchange. Primary-health clinicians and healthcare policy experts from the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness attended the session. Together, they evaluated a new treatment model for possible introduction in primary health in Nova Scotia. The subject was SBIR (screening, brief intervention, and referral) in the context of treating alcohol use.
